Organising a truly memorable hen do can be a tricky task, so why not leave it all to us and we’ll ensure the girls have a weekend they’ll never forget. It doesn’t matter whether your friends are seasoned sailors or total yachting novices, this is a great opportunity to do something new and different and get spoilt rotten into the bargain.
As soon as you arrive in the picturesque village of Hamble, you know you’re on to a winner and things get better when you make your way down to our the boat. Our yacht is 54′ long and can sleep 13. She’s also the last word in luxury and comfort. There’s no better way to arrive at a waterfront bar, club or restaurant than by yacht and this one is a real head turner that will ensure you get noticed from the off.
The first evening is a chilled affair; rather like the champagne that our hostess serves when you arrive. Then it’s time to get straight into Hamble’s legendary yachting scene with a few wines at well known yachting hang outs before dinner and more drinks. After that, it’s time to hit the dance floor and bust a few moves at the Boomerang club.
The following morning we get serious about having some high adrenaline fun and head out into the millionaire’s playground that is the Solent to indulge in a spot of sailing. You can either get involved and pick up a few sailing tips from our expert crew or simply lay back and enjoy the ride as the yacht skims effortlessly along the verdant coast of the Isle of Wight.
With the white cliffs of the Needles Channel providing a spectacular backdrop, we’ll anchor in Colwell Bay and you’ll be whisked in to lunch by our high speed RIB. After that, you can unwind and chill on the beach over a drink or two before heading back aboard for a fast downwind spinnaker run to our overnight stopover at Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
Cowes is recognised as the home of yachting and is a Mecca for any aspiring yachtie. Pulling into the marina, all eyes will be on you and the girls as you moor up. You’ll feel like a celebrity as we whisk you on to a top class restaurant, although not before we’ve prepped you with a generous supply of champers and nibbles. Post dinner, it’s time to explore Cowes and experience the buzz of this lively town over a busy race weekend.
Sunday is all about chilling out, with leisurely sailing the order of the day before we drop the hook off beautiful Osborne Bay for a BBQ. Follow this up with a bit of a blast around in our RIB before meandering back to Hamble and you have all the ingredients to ensure you are remembered as the best maid of honour ever.
