The Rolex Fastnet Yacht Race only comes around every 2 years and entries are limited. There are about 300 in the fleet of all sizes and types of craft. At least 50% of the crew and Skipper are required to have raced at least 300 miles on RORC offshore races.  Also 30% of the crew are required to have completed the ISAF safety training course. Most of the training is done at weekends to reduce time off work but you will need to allow for a week for the race itself though our time will be probably about 5 days depending upon wind and conditions. You don’t need to deliver the yacht back to the Solent if it is more convenient to leave us in Plymouth after the finish. We estimate that you will require 6 days holiday outside of normal weekends.
